How do I know which package is right for me?
If you’ve already chosen your destination and resort, the Essential package is a great fit. If you’re still deciding where to get married and want expert guidance throughout the process, Signature is the most popular choice. For couples who want every aspect of their guests’ travel managed, including flights, Penthouse offers the highest level of service.
Why do you charge a planning fee?
My planning fee covers the time, expertise, and education that go into every wedding I plan. Before your guests ever book a room, I’ve researched resorts, built your custom proposal, set up your room block, and prepared your guest booking page. The fee protects that time so I can give every couple my full attention from “yes” to “I do.” You can see exactly what’s included in each package above, and most couples are surprised by how much it covers.
Can I upgrade my package later?
Absolutely! As your plans evolve, you can upgrade your package at any time. Any fees you’ve already paid will be applied toward the upgraded package whenever possible.
What if I have more than 20 guests?
No problem! Package pricing is based on the size and complexity of your wedding group. If your guest count exceeds the package guidelines, I’ll provide a custom quote before any additional services are added.
Do my guests have to book through you?
No. While I encourage guests to book through the room block to receive any available group benefits, each guest is free to make their own travel arrangements. Please note that I can only provide support and advocacy for reservations booked through Katie’s Travel Agency.
Do you book flights?
Yes! Flight booking for the wedding couple is included with every package. Guest flight booking is available as an add-on with the Signature package and is included with the Penthouse package.
Can guests fly from different cities?
Absolutely. I regularly coordinate travel for guests departing from multiple airports across the U.S. and Canada, making the process as seamless as possible for everyone.
What happens if something goes wrong while we’re traveling?
Travel doesn’t always go exactly as planned, but you won’t have to navigate it alone. I’ll advocate on your behalf and assist with travel-related issues for reservations booked through Katie’s Travel Agency.
What if we haven’t chosen a destination yet?
That’s exactly what the Signature package is designed for! I’ll get to know your wedding vision, budget, and guest list, then provide personalized recommendations to help you confidently choose the destination and resort that’s the best fit for your celebration.
Can you help with excursions or other activities?
Absolutely! Excursions, dining reservations, spa appointments, group activities, and other concierge services are available as optional add-ons to further personalize your destination wedding experience.
When should we start planning our destination wedding?
I recommend reaching out 12 to 18 months before your desired wedding date whenever possible. This gives you the best selection of resorts, wedding dates, room availability, and group perks, while also giving your guests plenty of time to plan and budget for the trip.
