Do you charge planning fees?

Some trips include planning and management fees depending on the complexity, destination, and level of support involved. Planning fees allow me to provide personalized recommendations, research, organization, and ongoing support throughout the planning process.

How do I get started?

Do you work with clients outside of North Dakota?

Yes! While I’m based in North Dakota, I work with clients throughout the United States to help plan meaningful, stress-free travel experiences.

Why should I use a travel agent instead of booking online?

Travel planning involves much more than finding the cheapest option online. I help clients narrow down destinations, choose the right resorts and experiences, stay organized, and feel supported throughout the planning process.

How far in advance should we start planning?

In most cases, the earlier you book, the better. Planning early usually means better pricing, better availability, and more options for flights, resorts, hotels, and room categories.

Here’s how planning usually goes, start to finish. There’s no cost to inquire — the planning fee comes after we talk and agree to work together.

You send the inquiry form

Where you’re hoping to go, roughly when, who’s coming, and the kind of experience you have in mind. Guesses are completely fine.

I get back to you personally

Within 1–3 business days — a real reply from me, not an autoresponder. We’ll talk through your goals, your timing, and whether we’re a good fit.

Agreement and planning fee

If we’re moving forward, you’ll sign a Travel Services Agreement and choose the Travel Experience Package that fits your trip. That package is your planning fee — it covers the research and design of your trip, and it’s separate from the cost of the trip itself.

Your proposal arrives

Within 1–3 business days of your planning fee — 5–7 for more complex trips. We adjust until it’s right, then I handle the booking and stay with you all the way through your return.

How much does planning cost?

You’ll choose a Travel Experience Package that fits your trip — that’s your planning fee, and it covers the research and design of your trip. It’s separate from the cost of the trip itself, and you’ll know the number before anything is owed.

How quickly will I hear back?

Within 1–3 business days. Once your planning fee is paid, your first proposal follows in another 1–3 business days — 5–7 for more complex trips.

Does inquiring commit me to anything?

No. The form starts a conversation. Nothing is owed until you’ve signed a Travel Services Agreement and chosen your package.

How far ahead should we plan?

Earlier is almost always better — especially for destination weddings, where resorts limit how many weddings they host per day and room blocks fill quickly. More lead time means better pricing, availability, and room categories.

Do you work with people outside North Dakota?

Yes! I work with people all over the United States.

Why not just book it online myself?

The hard part isn’t finding a price — it’s narrowing hundreds of resorts down to the right one, keeping every detail straight, and having someone in your corner when a flight changes at 6 a.m.
