I always recommend planning your honeymoon as early as possible. Prices usually increase as availability goes down, especially for popular resorts, flights, and room categories. Booking early also gives you the best selection of resorts, flights, upgrades, and payment plan options.
Can we make payments toward our honeymoon over time?
In many cases, yes. Most vacation packages allow you to secure your trip with a deposit and make payments over time until the final balance is due. Payment schedules and deposit amounts vary based on the destination, resort, and how far in advance you book.
Can we book a honeymoon for $1,000?
If flights are included, that budget will be very difficult for most tropical honeymoon destinations. However, shorter getaways, road trips, cruises, or domestic destinations may still be possible depending on your travel style and expectations. I’ll always be honest about what is realistic for your budget.

Mexico is consistently my most-booked honeymoon destination, especially Cancun, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo. The best destination really depends on the experience you want — relaxing beaches, adventure, culture, luxury, or a mix of everything.
