What You Get with the Beso Package at Live Aqua Cancún

Beachside wedding table set with white linens, floral centerpiece, candles, and glassware overlooking the turquoise ocean.

There’s a sweet spot when it comes to destination wedding packages — above the entry-level basics, but without the full investment of a premium collection. A lot of my couples end up right in that range. They want upgraded flowers. They want dinner for their whole group. They want to feel like the day is actually taken care of. They just don’t want to spend five figures to get there. The Beso package at Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancún was designed for exactly that couple.

I’ve booked weddings at Live Aqua Cancún and spent time walking every inch of the property during a destination wedding specialists’ educational retreat — including watching a full wedding day unfold, from welcome drinks through ceremony to reception. I’ve talked with the team, walked the ceremony spaces, and seen how the day flows from beginning to end. When I walk couples through their package options, I want them to feel like they’re making a fully informed decision, not just choosing a line on a price list. Here’s what you actually get with Beso, how it compares to the packages above and below it, and how to know if it’s the right fit.

What the Beso Package Includes

The Beso package is priced at $3,105 and is designed for up to 20 guests. That guest count is one of the first things I explain to couples, because it’s easy to look at the price and assume it scales differently — it doesn’t. Beso is built around 20 people, and if you’re expecting more than that, we’d be looking at a different package entirely.

For that investment, you get a ceremony setup — chairs, a decorated arch or altar, the basic framework for the moment itself — along with upgraded florals that go beyond what the Serenata package offers. The floral difference is meaningful. Serenata gives you a starting point. Beso steps up in both the ceremony arrangement and the overall visual impact, which shows in photos. If you’ve been saving inspiration images for months, Beso is more likely to match what you’ve been picturing.

You also receive a romantic dinner for your group and a wedding cake — which is genuinely one of my favorite details to walk couples through, because the dinner element is often what tips the decision. Your whole group gets a real celebration dinner as part of the package, not an add-on you’re pricing out separately afterward. If you want to understand the full picture of what each package covers, my post on what’s actually included in a Live Aqua Cancún wedding goes through each tier in detail.

The Honest Truth About the Dinner Situation

Here’s where I want to slow down and be direct with you, because I think this detail matters more than most blog posts let on. The dinner included with Beso is a semi-private dinner, not a fully private one. Your group will have a designated area within one of the resort’s restaurants. Your 20 people will be together, you’ll have your own space, and the setting will feel celebratory — but you won’t have a room sealed off entirely from the rest of the resort.

For some couples, this is completely fine — actually, preferred. They like the energy of a restaurant setting, they don’t need a private ballroom, and the ceremony itself is what they care most about. For others, having that fully private, just-our-group reception experience is non-negotiable. If that’s you, it’s a meaningful distinction worth knowing now, and we’d be talking about the Abrazo or Corazón package instead.

I bring this up not to talk you out of Beso, but because I’d rather you choose your package knowing exactly what it includes than feel surprised on your wedding day. That’s the part of this job I take most seriously.

How Beso Compares to Serenata and Abrazo

Serenata comes in at $2,275 for up to 10 guests. It’s Live Aqua’s entry-level option — the right fit when your guest count is small or your budget is tighter. It gets the ceremony done with care, but the florals are more basic and the dinner element isn’t the same. If your guest list is closer to 10 people and you’re focused on keeping costs down, Serenata makes sense.

The jump from Serenata to Beso is $830. For most couples, that math works out once they realize they’d be pricing out upgraded florals and a group dinner separately anyway. Beso bundles those elements together at a price point that’s usually worth it for a guest count between 15 and 20.

Abrazo starts at $9,385 and is a different category of package — private reception, more inclusions, larger capacity. It’s not just the next tier; it’s a meaningfully different wedding day experience. If you’re genuinely weighing Beso against Abrazo, the main questions are about the reception setup and guest count. I’ve covered that decision in depth in my breakdown of the Abrazo vs. Corazón comparison at Live Aqua Cancún — which walks through what the jump to a private reception actually involves and when it’s worth it.

Who Beso Is Actually Right For

After walking couples through Live Aqua’s packages, I’ve noticed a consistent pattern with who chooses Beso. It tends to fit a specific kind of couple: someone who wants the destination wedding to feel complete and special, cares about their ceremony florals looking polished, and wants their guests to have a real dinner celebration together — but doesn’t need a private ballroom or a full reception production.

It also fits well for couples who plan to build around the package. Some of my Beso couples have added a private group dinner the following night, or an afternoon excursion for the full group as a separate event. They used the package for what it does beautifully — ceremony, florals, the official dinner — and layered the rest of the celebration on their own terms.

If your guest list is right around 15 to 20 people, Beso is almost always worth a serious look. Under 10, Serenata may fit better. Over 20, we move up. Getting the match right early makes everything else easier, which is why I always start every package conversation with the actual guest count and what the reception experience needs to feel like. You can see how all four packages stack up in the complete guide to destination weddings at Live Aqua Cancún.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Beso Package

Does the Beso package include the ceremony officiant?

The packages at Live Aqua cover ceremony setup and elements, but the officiant is typically arranged separately — either through the resort’s preferred vendors or an independent officiant. This applies whether you’re doing a symbolic ceremony or a legal one in Mexico. If you’re planning a legal ceremony, there are additional steps and documents required, and I’ll walk you through all of that as part of the planning process.

Can I add guests beyond the 20 included in Beso?

If your guest count exceeds 20, Beso typically isn’t the right fit — you’d want to look at Abrazo, which covers up to 30 guests and includes a private reception rather than a semi-private dinner. That said, it’s worth talking through the numbers together before assuming you need to upgrade, because the final guest count and what you actually want the reception to feel like both factor into the right call.

Is the $3,105 price per person or a total package price?

The $3,105 is the total package price, not per person. That covers everything included in Beso for up to 20 guests. Keep in mind this is separate from room and resort costs — your guests book their own stays, or you can arrange a group room block, which is something I help coordinate as part of the planning process. I always recommend confirming the current package price directly, since Live Aqua updates pricing annually.
